Yaashna Goyal, XII C Kavish, VIII C Editorial: “Flights of Fantasy” Imagination is the spark that lights the torch of progress, and fantasy is its most vibrant flame. It is with immense joy and creative fervor that we present this year’s edition of our school magazine, themed 'Flights of Fantasy.' In a world where facts often dominate, fantasy reminds us of the importance of dreaming beyond the limits of logic, and reaching for the skies of possibility.
This theme invites us all—students, teachers, and readers alike—to unshackle our minds from the ordinary and to explore the extraordinary. 'Flights of Fantasy' celebrates the curious minds that dare to wander, to wonder, and to weave stories that defy boundaries. Whether it’s a tale of distant galaxies, talking animals, enchanted forests, or invisible cities—fantasy nurtures the soul, develops creativity, and helps us understand the world through new and imaginative perspectives. In this issue, you will discover a colourful collection of stories, poems, essays, artwork, and reflections—all echoing the spirit of this theme. Each contribution is a window into a world where imagination takes the pilot’s seat, steering us through magical landscapes, futuristic dreams, and heartfelt adventures. These pieces are not just works of art; they are expressions of young minds daring to dream without fear or restraint.
As we turn each page, we are reminded that every great invention, every revolution in thought, and every leap in progress began as a wild idea—a fantasy, once scoffed at, now celebrated. So let us not shy away from fantasy. Instead, let us embrace it, for it is in dreaming that we find the seeds of tomorrow’s realities.
We thank all our contributors, teachers, and mentors for nurturing the spirit of imagination. To our readers: may this edition inspire you to dream more, imagine more, and create fearlessly.
“Let your thoughts take flight. After all, the sky is not the limit—it’s just the beginning.”
Happy reading!
Nita Pathak, Head of Editorial Board

OUR VISIONARIES
Mr. Raj Singh Gehlot Founder & Chairman of Ambience Group “The future belongs to those who dare to shape it with courage, conviction and conscience.”
Dear Trailblazers of Ambience Public School
Every generation stands at the threshold of possibility but few truly recognize the power within to redefine it. Today, I see before me not merely students but visionaries, creators and custodians of values, each capable of leaving an indelible mark on the world. This magazine is more than a record of achievements; it is a celebration of your imagination, intellect and the relentless spirit that propels you forward.
Education is the forge where knowledge meets purpose and curiosity is transformed into action. It demands courage to question, discipline to persevere and wisdom to discern the right path even when the road is uncharted. It is not measured solely in grades or accolades but in the character you cultivate, the challenges you overcome and the impact you leave behind.
The world awaiting you is vast, dynamic and unyielding. It seeks thinkers who innovate, leaders who empathize and citizens who act with integrity. Let ambition be guided by purpose, knowledge tempered with humility and success defined by the lives you uplift. Stand fearless in adversity, rise with resilience and let each endeavour be a testament to the values instilled within these walls.
As you leaf through the pages of this magazine, let them ignite your imagination, reinforce your courage and remind you of your limitless potential. May they inspire you to dream audaciously, act decisively and craft a legacy that resonates far beyond your years.
Remember, greatness is not a gift bestowed. It is earned through vision, persistence and unwavering ethical resolve. Lead boldly, act judiciously and let your life be a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.
With unwavering faith in your abilities and immense pride in your journey, I leave you with the following thoughts:
“Be architects of change, guardians of values and pioneers of a future only you can shape.”

3 Mrs. Jeanie Naozer Aibara Director, Ambience Public School, “Learning is not attained by chance; it must be sought for with ardour and
diligence” — Abigail Adams Schooling is the accumulation of knowledge, the mastering of exams, and the pursuit of perfect scores. But education is something deeper. It is the quiet awakening of the mind and the steady shaping of character. It is not about filling a child with facts, but about lighting a flame that continues to burn long after they leave the classroom. It is not about using the learned facts to achieve worldly success, but about using the knowledge to help others and leave the world a better place than the one we inherited.
stayed with me, or state-of-the-art facilities offered, not the great programmes we designed, not even the top performances of students in board exams - yes we did all that; we made many advances that made us proud and brought us ample rewards and satisfaction. But what has stayed with me are the faces of our brilliant students, always curious about the world around them, restless for the next challenge, hopeful of the future, and full of possibilities on how they will change the world. It is through those faces of our students that I came to recognize and continue to understand the true meaning of education.
Every child who walks into a school carries a gift. Some gifts are easy to recognize as they come in the form of academic excellence and creative brilliance. Others are quiet - kindness, resilience, curiosity, and the courage to stand by truth. Our duty as educators and as a community is not to compare these gifts among children; our duty is to nurture them so that every child knows she or he is special, each in their own way shining the light for those around them.
Of course, knowledge and creativity alone are not enough. Education must also build conscience. Today success is defined by professional status, income, and its rewards and these are certainly worth pursuing but we must teach children to think not only about what they can achieve, but who they become in the process. True education and the success that follows is not measured by personal gain alone, but by the ability to uplift others. In a world that emphasizes competition, we must remind our children of compassion. In a world that is becoming increasingly reactive, we must teach our children to be responsive to the needs of others.
One of the greatest responsibilities of education is to teach children to question. A questioning mind is a living mind. When children ask questions they are not being difficult; rather, they are being thoughtful. When they challenge our ideas, they are not being resistant— they are learning to think. In their questions, lie the kernels of discovery and progress.
We cannot ignore the realities beyond our school walls. There are those who lack opportunities, resources, and even basic necessities. Education means being cognizant of this and inspiring them to care, to act, and to give back. The educated mind must walk hand in hand with a compassionate heart. If we can teach our children this, then we truly are an educational giant.
Alongside questioning must come exploration. Children should feel free to venture beyond textbooks and factual learning, to experiment, perhaps to fail, and then to try again. Learning does not happen only within the boundaries of a syllabus or school curriculum; it happens when a child wonders, imagines, and dares to explore the unknown. As teachers, principals, and parents we must create spaces where curiosity and exploration are encouraged.
As I write this, I feel a deep sense of hope. The future does not depend on how much our children know, but on how wisely they use what they know. If they learn to question with courage, explore with curiosity, create with integrity, and care with sincerity, then they will not only succeed—they will make the world better.
When I look back on my years as a principal of this wonderful school, it is not the beautiful buildings that
4 Mrs. Himani Asija Principal “Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It’s about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life.”
— Shakuntala Devi As we stand at the threshold of a new academic year, we find ourselves in a world that is evolving rapidly— socially, technologically, and environmentally. In such a dynamic environment, the purpose of education extends far beyond academic achievement. It is about shaping character, nurturing empathy, and equipping individuals with the wisdom, integrity, and resilience needed to navigate life. At Ambience Public School, we believe that education should enlighten the mind, enrich the heart, and empower the spirit, enabling students not only to succeed but also to contribute meaningfully to society.
The early years of schooling lay a strong foundation for both academic and emotional growth. By strengthening reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, we prepare learners for future success. Our experiential approach encourages deep understanding, meaningful application, and a genuine love for learning, aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023.
Innovation and curiosity are integral to our philosophy. Facilities like the Atal Tinkering Lab, Reflection Centre, and Teaching and Learning Centre foster creativity, critical thinking, and personalized growth. Our commitment to sustainability through eco-clubs, a plastic-free campus, and outreach programmes nurtures responsible global citizens.
Our vision is rooted in the belief that every child is unique and full of potential. Guided by empathy and purpose, education becomes a transformative force that nurtures confident, compassionate, and capable learners. We strive to create an environment where students and teachers grow together, with a strong focus on academics, discipline, ethics, and personality development. The mental and emotional well-being of our students remains central, supported through wellness programmes, counselling, and mindfulness practices that build resilience and self-awareness.
Through continuous teacher development and progressive assessment practices, we promote holistic growth. Guided by our motto, ‘Humanity First,’ we inspire students to lead with compassion, responsibility, and a lifelong love for learning.
As we move forward, we remain committed to nurturing a generation that is intellectually capable, emotionally grounded, and socially responsible. Learning, we believe, is a lifelong journey — a continuous process of discovery, reflection, and growth. Therefore, we draw strength from the timeless Gandhian wisdom: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever.”
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and diligent students who together form the heart of our school community. Your trust, collaboration, and shared vision continue to inspire us to aim higher and dream bigger.
As we embrace another year of exploration and innovation, let us continue to believe that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge but about transforming lives. It is through education that we widen our understanding, deepen our compassion, and create a better, more humane world.

LEADING BY EXAMPLE
From the Ink of Junior Head Girl/Boy
Leadership is not about being the best; it’s about making everyone else better.”
As the Head Boy of Ambience Public School’s Junior School Council, I embrace this role with pride and gratitude. It reminds me to listen more, care more, and do more—not to command, but to uplift. Ambience is more than just classrooms; it is a place of dreams, inspiration, and life lessons, where I have learned to believe in myself. Teachers’ kindness and guidance have lit my path. Fellowmates, your friendship and shared growth make us a family. Management, your trust fuels our passion.
My vision is of a junior school where every voice matters, every talent shines, and every child feels proud. We will choose kindness over competition, cooperation over comparison, and compassion over criticism—building joy, friendships, and values that go beyond achievements.
I trust our student council—bright and responsible students who are ready to voice their peers’ needs, assist teachers, and represent our school with pride. Together, we will make our junior school a beacon of unity and positivity.
I dedicate myself to honest service, humble leadership and a compassionate heart, with an aim to uplifting us all together.

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.”
The mantle of Head Boy isn’t just a designation, it’s a symbol of inspiration and leadership to those who soon wish to be in the same position. That’s why I am so grateful for being provided the opportunity to serve as the Senior Head Boy of Ambience Public School, and at the same time, being the entity whose duty is to ignite the spirit of Humanity First in every student across the school.
Being the essence of our school, the phrase ‘Humanity First’ describes the true nature and true aspirations of every student that is a part of this institution, to build a world with humanity as its foundation. This phrase instills in our students a responsibility to uphold moral values in their life’s endeavours and to light the torch of humanity on the world.
The life lessons learnt in school are crucial for each child who aspires to be a harbinger of change in the world as it allows us to understand the significance of growth as a whole instead of personal ambitions. The student council is a perfect instance of students utilising this mindset that the school instills in us, to make use of our capabilities for the need and betterment of all.
I encourage my juniors to take their best stance in promoting the values of our school and its spirit in every endeavour of life they participate in for their personal interests, as to make the world a better place. The torch of humanity lies in your hands, so light the path which allows you to make a change and provide for others.

Class with the Devil and His Brother?
The Land of Dreams
HUES OF INNOCENCE
I never wanted to go to tuition. But after my math marks hit rock bottom, my parents dragged me to Mr. Kumar’s tuition center — or as I now call it, The Devil’s Den.
The birds, the trees, The clear blue skies. The land of my dreams, Where I want to be day & night.
The place was strange from the start. The lights buzzed occasionally and the smell of faint burning always lingered. The walls had old Latin phrases framed like inspirational quotes, except one of them literally translated to “The weak shall be removed.”
The water, so clean my mind goes blank The people so kind, my heart feels bland The birds, the trees, The clear blue skies. The land of my dreams, Where I want to be day & night….
Mr. Kumar himself was tall, pale, and always wore black. He didn’t smile much. When he did, it looked like it hurt. “Don’t break the rules” was the first thing he muttered to me when I first stepped into the center.
Aryan M S, X C He wasn’t joking. The rules were printed on a red sheet of paper: 1. Do not look into the hallway mirror. 2. Do not yawn. 3. Do not touch the red-covered book. 4. Do not ask about former students. Guess what I wanted to do first?
Oh! How Beautiful is the World Oh how beautiful is the world Trees as green as an emerald Forests as big as countries And old as centuries
It started small. Once, I saw him leave the room but just two seconds later, he was somehow already back, correcting a paper. Another time, I watched his reflection in the mirror keep moving even after he stood still.
Oh how beautiful is the world Water as blue as the sky So many stories that haven’t been told Oh my my my
“You’re overthinking,” said Rishi, the only guy who seemed sane (other than me, of course). “It’s just tuition.” But a week later, Rishi stopped coming. Vanished. Mr. Kumar said, “Some students don’t survive the pressure.” Then gave us a worksheet titled: “MATH TEST – JUDGEMENT DAY.” I had to know the truth. So I stayed behind one day, hiding behind the shelf near the back.
Oh how beautiful is the world
Veera Kaur, 7 A At exactly 6:45, Mr. Kumar walked in. He sat down and began grading papers. Then, footsteps upstairs. Another Mr. Kumar, identical, came down the stairs. Same clothes. Same serious face.
Drifting Beauty
The bird-filled sky, Admires the river. The trees fill space, The wind makes them shiver.
“Get the red book,” one said. “We begin tonight,” said the other. I felt my heart skip a beat. Without wasting any time, I rushed out the door.
The next day, I exploded. “There are TWO of you!” I shouted. “You’re not human — you’re some kind of demon!”
Father & Son slowly drift Before they go to the city, The father reminisces his days While the son finds the sky pretty.
Everyone stared.
Then Mr. Kumar burst out laughing. Not evil laughter. Actual tears in his eyes kind of laughter. Moments later, the second Mr. Kumar walked in. “Class,” he said, wiping tears, “meet my twin brother. Vikram. He helps me run the tuition.” “Hi,” said Vikram, casually biting into an apple.
Aditya M S, X B
My Parents
“But... the shadows, the mirror, the rules?” I asked. Mr. Kumar smiled. “Fear makes you focus. When I was friendly, students didn’t care. So we made the place a little spooky. Fake rules, flickering lights, staged footsteps. And Vikram plays the ‘devil’s clone.’”
Me and my parents, are like grass and sun. Like Sun makes light, They keep my future glowing and bright. My father is the superhero. My mother is the angel . She cooks food like a miracle. My father inspires me, my mother motivates. I give them the love I got. I love them a lot.
“You scared us on purpose?” “Last year, my students averaged 43%. This year? You all are memorizing trigonometry out of sheer terror. Worth it.”
“And Rishi?” “On vacation. His mom sends me photos.” Honestly? It worked. I studied harder than ever. I even dreamed about math equations chasing me through fire.
I topped the next test.
Harbani Kochar, X A Jayant Srivastava, VII A 110 Beyond Exams: How Competencies Shape Careers
HUES OF INNOCENCE
‘Grades fade. Titles change. But the skills you master and the value you bring? That’s what builds a career’. Steve Jobs, an American entrepreneur, inventor, and business visionary best known as the co-founder of Apple Inc wasn’t the most technical person at Apple, but he had a vision and could communicate ideas so powerfully that people rallied around him. His design, thinking and product intuition changed the entire industry. His ability to envision the future and inspire others to build it was a game-changing skill. The question has shifted from “What did you study?” to “What can you do?” Age and credentials don’t define leadership; it simply relies on skills like communication, empathy, decision-making, and teamwork, none of which are directly tested in exams. Indeed, examinations teach students how to plan, prioritise, and manage stress, which builds lifelong habits that are essential for careers, relationships, and personal growth. However, success today demands emotional intelligence, adaptability, creativity, and resilience. The ability to keep learning, pick up new tools, adapt to change, and solve emerging problems is a competency in itself and it’s far more valuable than static textbook knowledge.
of teamwork, of aligning with people from different backgrounds and ideas, and finding common ground to achieve a shared goal. It’s in these moments, not during exams that I discovered who I truly am and what I can become. Competencies like time management, adaptability, and confidence helped me balance studies with responsibilities and still show up with passion. These experiences have fueled my ambition, not just for a career, but for a life of impact. I now believe that success is not defined by a score, but by the value we create for others. As I move toward college and beyond, I carry the mindset of a leader, ready to learn, to build, and to lead by example. The world is changing fast, and we need more than memorised answers. We need adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and purpose-driven individuals. That’s the kind of person I strive to be. Not just someone who performs well in exams, but someone who makes a difference. I want to be the kind of individual who brings people together, even when opinions clash. Initiative matters more than instructions. And passion matters more than perfection. As I prepare for the future, I carry more than lessons. I carry leadership, resilience, and purpose. I’m not defined by numbers on a paper, but by the change I’m willing to create and that, I believe, is what true success looks like. I’ve had to make tough choices, manage deadlines, and work with people whose ideas were very different from mine. In doing so, I’ve learned the value of listening before reacting, of staying calm under pressure, and of believing in a bigger goal than just personal recognition. These are skills that no textbook can teach, yet they’ve shaped me more than any syllabus ever could. I won’t let a percentage define my future. I choose to be defined by my principles, by my actions, and by the change I aim to create. The real success isn’t about being better than someone else. It’s about being better than who you were yesterday and using that growth to build a future that matters.
by a number on a report card. They are built through real-world experiences through group projects, challenges, failures, and everyday moments where we choose to lead, to grow, and to rise. From my own experience in student leadership, I’ve learned that it’s not just about being right, it’s about being responsible. Not just about speaking but knowing when to listen. These are the competencies that shape resilient, self-aware individuals ready for the demands of the future. In a world where industries change rapidly and problems are complex, being competent matters more than being perfect. The future doesn’t belong to those who only score high, it belongs to those who can think clearly, act ethically, adapt fast, and lead with empathy. So, as I move forward, I no longer chase success in the form of marks alone. I choose to build my competencies, knowing that they will shape not only my career, but the kind of impact I want to leave behind. Because in the end, it’s not about being the top of the class. It’s about being ready for the real world. I would always prefer being recognised by my skill set and confidence to overlap hurdles, not by what I had to feed into my mind and jot down on a piece of paper.
Aanya Ahuja, XII-A As a 12th-grade student standing at the edge of academic life and future aspirations, I’ve come to realise an important truth: exams may measure what we remember, but they don’t always reflect what we’re capable of. As a student council member, I’ve had the unique opportunity to experience leadership firsthand and it’s this experience that has taught me that competencies are what truly shape our careers and define our potential. In the student council, I learned how to manage feedback, make quick decisions, handle criticism, and build consensus. This is what makes me thrive at the work I do, with tremendous potential and proficiency not just as a student, but as a leader, a team player, and a solution- driven thinker. These skills, which aren’t tested in any exam, are the very ones that prepare me for real-world success and long-term growth. As I prepare for the next chapter of my journey, I carry with me not just the academic lessons I’ve learned, but the leadership experiences that have shaped who I am becoming. I discovered the value
Humanity First
Humanity refers to the virtues and behaviours expected of humans such as kindness and empathy. It is a unifying force. It is an integral part of our society as man is a social animal and the acts of kindness and compassion towards others is what makes us better human beings. Our history is full of examples of great humanitarians such as Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa. We should take inspiration from them. We don’t need vast resources to showcase humanity. Simple acts of kindness, helping and sharing makes us better human beings. Our actions help heel others and the society as a whole. If we don’t have humanity in us, what is the use of living in a society. Do you also have humanity? Have you helped anyone?
Throughout this essay, I’ve explored how competencies such as leadership, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and decision-making are not only important, but essential in shaping our future careers. These traits can’t be captured

The Teacher and the Child Within
Wings of Wonder
HUES OF INNOCENCE
“A teacher does not simply teach — she becomes the wind beneath wings and the light inside dreams.”
I mount a cloud, soft as a dream, And soar above a silver stream. The sky is painted pink and gold, A work of wonder to be hold,
Every morning, I walk into school with my diary of plans, my heart full of hope, and my mind eager to guide. Yet, the moment I see those young faces — curious, bright, expectant
Dragons curl in rings of fire, Their eyes like lanterns, never tire. Unicorns with flowing manes, Gallop across the crystal plains.
— I am reminded that I am not just a teacher standing before children. I am also a child, learning silently beside them, discovering life through their eyes.
For in every child, I see a new universe — untouched, innocent, and shimmering with possibilities. And in their gaze, I see something profound:
Floating islands drift on air, With castles built beyond compare. Rivers sparkle, rivers sing, Carrying whispers of everything.
A child does not just learn from a teacher... a child believes in one.
They look at me not as someone who knows everything, but as someone who knows how to make them feel seen, safe, and capable. To them, I am not simply a lesson-giver. I am a dream-keeper. A problem-solver. A comfort-giver. A quiet hero.
Giant flowers, tall as towers, Opens petals to sunlit hours. Bees the size of tiny boats, Buzz along in shimmering coats.
A child watches me with eyes full of trust — eyes that whisper, I ride a comet through the night, Chasing moons that glows so bright. Stars play hide and seek above, Lighting paths for dreamer I love.
“Teach me, guide me, hold my hand… but also see the little dreamer inside me.” And in those eyes, I find my greatest lessons. I learn patience from the child who tries again despite stumbling. I learn purity of love from the little arms that offer sudden hugs. I learn resilience from trembling voices answering bravely. I learn forgiveness from tiny hearts that forget anger within minutes. I learn gratitude from smiles that light up just because I said, “Well done!”
Talking owls and foxes wise, Offer riddles as my prize. Through forests where the tree all hums, I find the place where dreams came from.
No rule can bind this skyward flight, No ends to wonder, no worry or right. Imagination is my key, Unlocking worlds where I am free.
Children look to us for wisdom — yet they unknowingly become our teachers. Their innocence humbles my pride. Their curiosity stirs my intellect. Their laughter heals my tired soul. Their trust strengthens my resolve to be worthy of it.
So close your eyes and hold my hand, Well fly together this land. A world where fantasy takes wing, And every hearts can laugh and sing.
Sometimes I see a child staring at me, studying me silently — not my lesson, but my kindness.
To them, I am not merely teaching English, maths, or science — I am teaching how to be gentle, how to persevere, how to dream boldly and rise gracefully.
Prisha, VI C They may forget formulas and dates. But they will remember how I made them feel — seen, valued, loved, capable, courageous, enough.
Dare to Dream
Close your eyes, let your spirit soar, Beyond the clouds, past every door. Picture a place where your hopes reside, Where courage walks and fears subside.
And so, I teach — but I also learn.
I guide — but I also grow.
I light little lamps — but I also borrow their light to brighten my own journey.
I am a teacher, yes — but within me lives a student who refuses to stop learning. And beside me stands a child, believing in magic, believing in goodness, believing in me.
Let the hues of your heart softly blend, To craft a dream that knows no end. Hold it gently—let it gleam, Feed it love and let it dream.
Together, we are both growing — not just in knowledge, but in heart, spirit, and hope.
But dreams, like birds, are born to fly, So when it’s time, don’t question why. Release it to the sky so wide, And trust the winds to be its guide.
If ever the world wonders why teaching is sacred, let them see a child’s hand in mine — small fingers holding infinite trust. Let them hear that tiny voice saying, “Teacher, when I grow up, I want to be like you.”
In that moment, I know — I am not just shaping a future… I am being shaped by it.
Then close your eyes, begin once more, Seek a new dream to explore. Keep dreaming, daring, reaching high— For dreams are stars that light the sky.
And perhaps that is the most beautiful learning of all.

The Dream Painter
Colours of Nature’s Tapestry Wrapped in beautiful strings of colour, beneath fascinating clouds in the sky... With birds buzzing around, we hear their cheerful, chirping sound.
HUES OF INNOCENCE
He dipped his brush in midnight skies, And painted stars with wondering eyes. Each stroke he made a world anew, With purple grass and skies of blue.
Flowers bloom in colours sublime, while winds blow with repose and serene . Where sunlight falls like a blessing, gently enlightening the space.
He gave the moon a golden grin, And carved a castle on the wind. He taught the clouds to dance and play, And turned the night to bright ballet.
Flies hover in the sky with magnificent butterflies, as the river’s flowing sound reaches the celestials. Harmonious landforms stand in ease, draped in colours — a vibrant tapestry of love and peace.
The mountains whispered songs he knew, The rivers flowed with shades of hue. His canvas stretched from shore to star, No wall could hold his dreams afar.
The holy tree, the holy grass, the stillness of every other plant. “Can you find a place better than this?” nature asks, where one could feel everything at once.
They said, “Be still, the world is real,” But he replied with brush and zeal— “For in my art, the truth takes flight, And fantasy becomes the light.”
Sia Mishra, VII C So when he paints, he paints to be The boy who sets imagination free. No need for crown or cloak or throne— His dreams have wings all of their town.
Our Great Past Through the annals of time, never once forgotten The bravehearts that gave up their lives Undaunted by danger, they stood their ground They stood tall and strong, a legacy that lives on Their sacrifice was not in vain, for one day it paved the way
Rudransh Tyagi, VII A The Nature of Adventure Nature is a path, a way, Like a torch that lights the day. Nature is a land of peace, With countless trees and endless leaves.
The way to go, the way they showed The way we never knew would unfold For there was a time in 1857 When freedom fighters rose, their hearts full of pride For it was the time to bring on the battle
Fortunately their dreams have come true For us to live in this world anew Not anew in sight but when our hearts unite A strong bond that we share with might But the journey still lives on to this day Their memory shall live on this way
There’s too much water all around, Monkeys eating fruit they’ve found. I love to live where green is seen, And love the beauty of the scene.
Fruits grow high above the roots, Monkeys swing in lively loops. How beautiful is this world so wide, I love adventure, with nature as my guide.
Joy, VII C In the Realm of the Imagination Imagination, a wondrous key Unlocks the doors of possibility A world of dreams, a world of might Where creativity takes flight
Rudransh Tyagi, VII A A Fisherman’s Day Waking up at the crack of dawn, Just to stare at the crystal water. I have nothing except for my brawn. My work is the only thoughts I foster.
With imagination, we can touch the sky And dance among the stars, with a twinkle in the eye We can create worlds and characters too And bring our deepest thoughts, and desires anew
Upon the river, the boat is afloat. The river wears the sky as a coat. The fishes fill the basket, As if it is their casket.
In the realm of imagination, we roam Free to create, to make our own home Where the ordinary, becomes extraordinary And the impossible becomes merely a memory
As the day closes in, I earn enough bread. I must do this work as the family head. The moon appears in the night sky. I finally rest, underneath the starry sky.
So, let’s cherish our imagination, and never let it fade For it’s the source of our creativity and the spark that’s made To dream, to create, and to bring to life The endless possibilities, that imagination provides in strife.
Isha Sharma, X B Vedika K, VII A 113 From Y2K to AI: 25 Years of Technological Transformation
The world of technology is ever evolving. Just when we think we’ve grasped it all, a new wave of innovation reminds us how much more there is to learn.
at the forefront of this evolution is artificial intelligence— no longer just a futuristic concept, but a real force driving business, science, education, entertainment, and more.
AI tools can now write content, diagnose diseases, power self-driving cars, and even mimic human creativity. We live in an era where machines can understand language, make decisions, and generate ideas—a reality that once belonged only in science fiction.
Back in the year 2000, the world stood on the edge of a digital disaster known as Y2K. Many computer systems at the time used only two digits to represent the year for example 98 for 1998. This seemingly harmless shortcut posed a serious threat. As the date changed to “00,” these systems might interpret it as 1900 instead of 2000, potentially causing widespread malfunctions in almost every sector.
And yet, despite all this progress, one truth remains: the journey of technology is far from over.
It was a time of global anxiety. Headlines warned of planes being grounded, financial markets crashing, and critical infrastructure failing. But what followed was a powerful demonstration of collective problem-solving. But thanks to a massive, coordinated global effort involving code rewrites disaster was largely averted. The transition into the new millennium occurred with barely a glitch. Y2K which, once was feared as the end of the digital age, instead became a turning point that ushered in a new era of technological confidence.
The question now is: Where will technology take us in the next 25 years? Will AI become our most trusted collaborator—or our greatest challenge? Will we live in a world dominated by autonomous systems, where human effort is replaced by intelligent machines?
It truly feels as though we are entering a science fiction era—one where AI might not just support the world, but shape it. The choices we make today, in how we build, regulate, and interact with these technologies, will define the kind of future we inherit.
Now, 25 years later, the digital world has transformed beyond anything most could have imagined in 2000. The internet has become the backbone of modern life. Mobile computing has untethered us from desks and wires, putting the world in our pockets. Cloud technologies have reshaped how we store, access, and process information, enabling global collaboration and real-time innovation. And
As we look ahead, one thing is certain: just like in the days of Y2K, our ability to adapt, collaborate, and think critically will determine whether technology becomes a force for progress or a source of disruption.
The future is unwritten—but it is undoubtedly digital.
Ms. Mridula Gandhi, TGT Computer Science The Flight of Fantasy Sparkle and Vibe : The world is pretty, But kinda plain to me. My mind’s got a filter, Sparkling for all to see. The Flight of Fantasy
Once upon a time in the middle of the night, I was sleeping on my bed, then I heard a bang! I thought it’s just a storm, and again I heard someone bang!
Kuromi’s world was amazing with everyone, rainbow tattoos on their hands, rainbow streams, rivers, oceans and the list goes on…
So I thought to go upstairs and check on my terrace, and guess what? I found my favourite character (KUROMI) swinging, she was so cute. When I went closer she looked like a little baby. I couldn’t control myself so I asked her can I pick you up? She smiled at me and wanted me to pick her up.
After exploring Kuromi’s world, I asked Kuromi to come with me in my world. This world is too colourful for me so come on what are you waiting for ?? she said, "Ok! When we arrived she got very excited and shouted, "where is your house!" I said, "Shh! we have arrived." Then she said, "Where are your mum and dad?" I said, "It's midnight and they are sleeping."
I quickly held her in my arms, I loved her so much and then she spoke for the first time, she said, "Hi! Ruhaani", then I asked how do you know my name. She said, "How would I not know your name!"
The Flight of Fantasy With wings of thought, I start to fly, Beyond the clouds, across the sky. A castle of stars, a rainbow bright, Opens its doors in the moonlit night. I ride a dragon, I sail the seas, I talk to flowers, I climb tall trees. A carpet of magic takes me away, To lands of wonder where fairies play. Though my feet stay on the ground, My dreams and hopes know no bound. In flights of fantasy, wide and free, I find the best of worlds in me. Hardik Kapoor, VI -E
I made dinner for Kuromi but there was a twist, in her magic watch She was getting a call from her mom, then she said, "Ruhaani I'm sorry, I have to go but there is a gift for you."
"You always watch youtube videos of mine." I was sad as she had to go back but happy too, she gifted me a magic ball, which can make your wishes come true. She left and said goodbye Ruhaani. If you miss me just rub the ball I will come to see you!
Ruhaani, "You are my favourite human, you talk about me with your friends all the time." After our chit chat Kuromi took me to her world. Then I saw her friends Cinamaroll, mellody and pom pom.
